IA D5610 Total Budget: $4,050 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Park trees and benches for children and families visiting O'Toole City Park in Lemars, IA The Rotary Club of Lemars is celebrating its centennial year of Rotary service. In conjunction with the city of Lemars, we are enhancing the O'Toole City Park in LeMars, IA. A new skateboard facility is being built for the youth in our community. Our Rotary club will provide new trees and benches to enhance the city park for families. Rotarians from the Rotary Club of LeMars will provide volunteer hours to plant the trees and install benches. The Rotary emblem image and awareness will be provided by plaques attached to the park benches. Our project will provide 15 new trees and 2 new park benches at the O'Toole City Park in LeMars, Iowa. The objective of this grant falls in the community development area of focus.
