Project Description Country: USA Location: Carlsbad Total Budget: $3,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Food/Agriculture: Volunteer Services Summary: Package basiic food supplies to support The Outreach Program non-profit organization Carlsbad Hi Noon Rotary will partner with The Outreach Program, a well established non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation that organizes food packaging events around the country. With more than 550 million meals packaged to date, the organization's mission is to provide safe water, food, medical care, and education to those in need. Rotarians will package 10,000 meals and distribute them to organizations of our choice in our local community. Funds requested will be used for supplies. The total cost for our participation in this program is $3,000.
