The International Rescue Committee in San Diego serves 7,717 unique clients from over 100 different countries. They have a Safety & Wellness Unit which assists in obtaining appropriate trauma informed mental and health wellness services. In the area of settlement families received support and guidance in enrolling children in school. The IRC also provides Vocational ESL classes and employment case management as well as career development. Their Youth Programs are focused on academic support such as tutoring, youth leadership and community engagement.
