Project Description Country: USA Location: Aledo Total Budget: $3,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Scholarship Summary: Scholarships offered to Aledo High School students taking dual high school and college credit courses. The Aledo Education Foundation along with Aledo High Scholl counselors will identify Aledo High School students taking dual high school/college credit courses. Scholarship recipients will receive funds to offset the cost of the dual credit courses which will be paid directly to the dual credit program in the student's name. Dual credit courses cost a student $284 per course plus materials which limits student participation in the dual credit program.
