Project Description

Country: USA

Location: Lake Havasu City

Total Budget: $1,200

Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy

Activity Type: Education: General

Summary: To provide music recorders for 3rd graders.

The Lake Havasu Unified School District's music program includes music recorders. These flute type instruments normally cost each student $3.00. There are always students who can't afford to pay and may only borrow an instrument. Lake Havasu Sunrise Rotary has agreed to purchase the music recorders for every 3rd grader in the district, so that no child has to feel left out.
