Project Description Country: USA Location: Naperville, Illinois Total Budget: $2,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Gift Giving to disadvantaged children found through the local school foundation. Provision of holiday gifts to dozens of children in financial need or homeless as identified by the school social workers. This is a long standing project of the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise. Purchase of 67 Gifts or Gift Cards valued at $40 a piece. Most if not all members of the club donate the minimum $40 or purchase gifts of that value for distribution. 4-5 club members collect the gifts and donations and assist in the distribution to the children in need. This project is to be completed the weeks before Christmas.
