Summary: Our Club will purchase and deliver needed supplies to Robyne's Nest including groceries, toiletries, gift cards, and bus passes.
Our Club continues to support Robyne's Nest, a local non-profit started by Robyne Wood. She collects and distributes food, toiletries, and clothing to local homeless and at-risk High School Students. Robyne has been able to obtain 900 square feet of office space. With that space, Robyne's Nest is able to not only store the supplies but also provide space to conduct Life Skills classes to help the students. Our Club is submitting this Grant Application to cover the purchase and delivery of needed supplies including groceries, toiletries, gift cards, and bus passes to the facility. We will also help deliver the food supplies to 7 local High Schools twice a month. Our Club Members will also be able to participate in planned programs such as tutoring and life skills instruction. Other volunteer activities are available such as 4th of July fireworks stand. Project start is July 1, 2019 and project completion is May 31, 2020.
