Summary: Speech Contest is open to any high school aged student within Arizona. Students compete for scholarships for their College education. This contest has been on going for 90 years


Most high school students need assistance with college education costs, this contest gives approximately $8,000 to students for their college fund. The preliminary event is held all day the Monday before the final event at the Phoenix 100 Friday meeting. Breakfast and lunch are provided to students, coaches, college reps and volunteers at a cost of $3,000. Over 40 Rotary Members are involved as judges, time keepers and monitors.

The 90th Phoenix Rotary 100 Speech contest will be held April 20th and 24th, 2020 at the Phoenix Country Club
