The Clark Rotary Club, along with numerous other volunteers has been helping in labor and financial for the renovation of the City of Clark Swimming Pool Bathhouse. The project has involved resurfacing the floor, painting, new lighting, changing rooms, windows, new counter/reception area. With still more to do, one of the next major items is the new ceiling. Currently it is exposed beams with nails showing through and paint peeling off. We plan to cover the ceiling with a plexiglass, waterproof material. The cost of Material is $2,000, we intend to hang it ourselves. (photo's enclosed) The
Clark Rotary Club helped build this pool over 50 years ago. lt has had no major renovation since. We have embarked on the bathhouse, patched leaks in the pool and gave it two coats of paint. We have partnered with the Clark Lions and they have agreed to completely replace the kiddie pool. And the City of Clark has already put over $10,000 in to the project. Private donations of $5,000. And Greater Clark Area Community Foundation donated $5,000 have also been received. We will either cover the cost of the additional $1,000 for material or we will as the Greater Clark Area Community
Foundation to assist.
