On the night of 14-15 April 2014, female students were kidnapped from the Government Secondary School in the town of Chibok in Borno State, Nigeria.[3] Responsibility for the kidnappings was claimed by Boko Haram, an extremist terrorist organization based in northeastern Nigeria.
We have 121 Chibok girls on campus who are slowly but surely reintegrating into the society through the gentle care and dedication of Staff of the UN Foundation School. Their innocence was taken away from them too early and any smile we see on faces always fills us with joy and these individual dictionary gifts will no doubt gladden their hearts the way it has delighted ours.
