Project Description

Country: USA

Location: Sun Lakes AZ

Total Budget: $4,000

Area of Focus: Community economic development

Activity Type: Community Development: General

Summary: Placement of Rotary Branded benches in key areas of Sun Lakes to enhance the community

Purchase and installment of up to 6 benches in key areas of Sun Lakes to provide exposure to the community about Rotary and to provide needed areas of opportunity for the senior population of this retirement community to sit down in comfort when they need to or when they are waiting for a ride outside of key buildings within the Sun Lakes area. Key buildings could include the four different club houses, either of the two medical complexes, the grocery store area or along the many walking paths in the community.

Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed)

This Addendum is to adjust the scope of the project. The initial projected cost of the bench project was high because we got the site owner Centum Health to pay for 1/2 of the project and installation of the seating area. This lowered our overall cost considerably and left unused money. After consultation with Jim Bissonett, we agreed to amend this project to include funding for the (DIPL) Dolly Parton Imagination Library Project that we are doing in Guadelupe AZ. The projected cost of DIPL with the months of April and May set at a conservative $250 per month comes to $2930.73. The cost of for the benches and the install was 2316.29. Centum Health Properties and Sun Lakes Rotary split that cost 50/50 so our portion of the total was $1122.83 Paid with check #10235.

Peter, I had to delete the check you posted, because it is not allowed and not proof of payment. Also, what connection is the Classy Closets receipt to your project?

16-Apr-20

by Jim Bissonett

Peter, the documents you have loaded do not show as "paid receipts" from the vendor. The spreadsheets and billings are inadequate by definition of the requirements. A paid receipt indicates the vendor received funds from your club. These have not been presented on the document page. If this is still confusing, please call me. I am happily and willing to assist you!
