Project Description Country: USA Location: Channahon-Minooka, IL Total Budget: $1,000 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Volunteer advocates will be the voice of abused and neglected children in the court system CASA of Will County's mission is to utilize well-trained community volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children in the court system and ensure their needs are met. The volunteer advocates meet with the children each month and report to the judge on their well-being. The club will fund CASA services to 2 children in the local community for 6-months and provide volunteer advocate services, as well.
