Summary: Inspriational Rotary Mssage and Graphics dispalyed in the room at the new Arlington Public Library dedicated to the Rotary Club of Arlington


This project, to be completed by early 2019 will enhance the entrance and walls of the room our Club sponsored at the new Downtown Arlington Library so that the meeting/learning space will help create a unique environment that will allow everyone to read, study, and work.

The library and it's rooms are provided free and serve over 1.5 million peopel a year. It holds more than 600,000 items, from books, audiobooks, eBooks, and DVDs, to digital photo collections, genealogy resources, and grant funded kits for parents and teachers. In the always expanding digital realm, the new library and all of its spaces provide people with powerful online resources. Online visitors can browse collections, download eBooks, and view more than 100 digital tools in almoste very area of the library.

Club members will be involved with the planning and installation of the art and our Club will host student tutoring and club meetings in the space regularly.


Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed)

Remaining funds will be used to fund a Club Sponsored meeting at the space to celebrate the installation.
