Summary: Needs based scholarships are provided to 3-4 local high school students for college tuition.


The Hinsdale Rotary Club provides scholarships to high achieving Hinsdale High School students for college tuition. The scholarships are based upon leadership, academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community service & financial need. We will disperse $12,000 equally to 3-4 students.


Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed)

The club has selected six students instead of four. Same total dollars, $12,000 but amounts vary. Money will be paid directly to the schools. No expenditures yet for awards made in April 2019.

The District Grants Committee cannot close the 2018-19 grant with Rotary International until your final report is complete.

The final report for your club’s 2018- 19 District Grant project is past due. The District Grants Committee cannot close the current grant from Rotary International until your club’s final report is submitted. This means that no club can receive their funds for 2019 – 2020 until your report is completed.
