Summary: Computer tech equipment to be provided to public/private schools to enhance community leadership and partnership qualities.
We have identified inadequate computer capabilities in our elementary, middle school, high school public schools and one private school. These needs are constraining our communities ability to teach basic leadership skills to our youth and are restricting their abilities to partner with other community resources to better all citizen quality of life. We will provide upgraded equipment and programs to alleviate these constraints and allow quality programs to youth in our community. We will use our Rotarians to partner with school administrations and other non-profits to provide the volunteer structure for programs to enhance student leadership learning skills. Purchases of equipment would be made in late fall right after school openings with related programs implemented in January and February of 2019.
Club members would work with schools throughout school year and with two other non profit entities already identified.
