Summary: FULLERTON Rotary Cares provides Dental, Vision, Medical and Breast Cancer Screening for low-income, uninsured and under insured adults in Fullerton. It is held at Richman Elementary, a Title I school.
This event is held in early June of 2019. The event provides approximately 300 adults who are uninsured or under insured with medical, and vision and dental services which they otherwise would go without. The funds will be used to cover event expenses, such as Dental Equipment which is paid to Lestonnic for equipment, promotional Expenses,Food and Beverage Expenses for staff and Rotarian/Rotoract volunteers,Supplies, mostly for T-shirts for event, some follow-up care grants for diagnoses such as cataracts. We will collectively have about 30 Rotarians and Rotaractors involved in hands on support the day of the event.
This project is "Paid". This means that the funds from the district have been issued. This project is now being ready for implementation. When this is done, a report needs to be uploaded on the project page and the "Reported" button needs to be clicked, then the status of the project will be changed to "Reported".
