Project Description Country: USA Location: Elmhurst, IL Total Budget: $5,000 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: Volunteer Services Summary: Community Thanksgiving Dinner for 500 A Thanksgiving dinner provided for approximately 500 needy people in the community. We partner with a local banquet hall to provide a complete meal as well as some entertainment. Club members volunteer to help set up and break down, greet guests, and assist in helping the serving staff. The club also arranges for the local high school to provide musical entertainment.
