Project Description

Location: Imperial, Nebraska

Total Budget: $844

Area of Focus: Economic and community development

Activity Type: Community Development: General

Summary: Adding a bench to the Skating Park being build

A group of local boys took it upon themselves to raise the funds needed to build a skate park in Imperial, Nebraska. It has taken them several years and they don't have all the funding yet but the project has begun. We would like to help with adding a bench in the relaxing area for people to sit and watch the skaters. We will use the $500 District grant plus raise the additional $344 needed to purchase the bench. The bench will be ordered once the grant money is received and will be installed later this summer when the park is completed.
