Project Description Country: Mexico Location: Guadalupe Valley, Baja CA Total Budget: $2,798 Areas of Focus: Maternal and child health, Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: To provide assistance with this school for deaf children in Baja Mexico. Purchase and provide food and supplies for Rancho Sordo Mudo, a school for deaf children. Our club will make at least two trips to this school. The first will be to purchase and set up school supplies for the coming school year. This will include primarily food and sanitation supplies. The second trip will be to provide "Christmas in January" for the school. On this trip, our club will travel to the school, provide lunch and gifts to each of the students and staff. This trip occurs in January and allows us to plan at least two trips to stay in touch with the students and staff.
