Summary: Install durable park benches, with Rotary Emblem, in City parks. Benches to be constructed of recycled materials
Many of the City parks in Bozeman do not have enough benches to stop and rest or enjoy a lunch on. Installing benches in more of the city parks will provide an opportunity for walkers to stop, rest and enjoy the park. Everyone visiting the park would benefit from the additional benches. The location of the benches would be coordinated with the City Parks Department. The Grant funds would assist with purchasing the benches and concrete or gravel pad materials. The Bozeman Noon Rotary members would construct the concrete or gravel pads and assemble and install the benches. It is anticipated the benches and pads would cost approximately $750-$1,000 each and the project would be completed in the summer of 2018. We would like to start with 8 benches this year.
